A lovely oil on tin Retablo painting of the Virgin and Child, 19th century Mexican. The Retablo was later mounted to board for hanging or for projected framing. It is well rendered and in good condition for age. Painting has some surface soiling/toning, scattered paint loss/small marks, old mounting holes at edges, typical bends to tin sheet, etc. Please see all photos for condition. A nice painting to add to your Colonial collection!
