only issue is. you can not access bios. it has a pass code that I don't know. everything else is like new. you can reset windows. re-install or go back to factory setting. you just can not temper with the bios of this device and hence sold as " for parts" .  you only need the bios passcode if you need to change BIOS, which is very unlikely for most people. I wish I could remember the bios passcode, forget about it for past 3 years.

you can also add accidental damage warranty for 85$ canadian, and god forbid if you spill water on it "by accident", you can always send it in to lenovo for exchange with a newer model possibly current version, and no bios passcode.
