***NO RESERVE & $1 OPENING BID!!!***

World War Two German NCO / EM Hobnail Marching Boots remain in overall Fair to Good Condition showing visible signs of age, wear and use. Nice larger size with all leather remaining soft and flexible. NO overly dry areas, weak spots or rot to the leather itself. NO signs of having any sort of so called “preservative” ever applied. Some scattered scuffs and wear as well as some visible discoloration is visible upon close examination. The rear of the left boot is torn at the center stitching from having a modern style plastic boot form shoved into it and ratcheted down tightly by a previous owner. The right boot shows signs of this beginning to happen to it as well, but this damage is to a much lesser degree. Some scattered wear to the stitching of the foot areas can be seen as well upon close examination. Soles and hobnails show clearly visible signs of age, wear and use as you can see in the photos. These boots were definitely worn. Boots maintain both or their cloth pull tabs firmly stitched into the uppers. Interior upper portions appear to remain in good condition with no readily apparent damage or heavy soiling. Overall, these boots remain quite solid and display well just as they are. However, with proper cleaning and packing with acid free paper or batting, they will display very well. They could also very easily fit on a mannequin due to their nice, larger size. We are confident that you will be pleased with these when you see them. We DO NOT recommend trying to wear these boots and we DO NOT issue refunds based on items not fitting you. We are not a costume shop and sell all items for historical display and collecting purposes only.
