Vintage Button Brass Toggleback Military Embossed Lion Crest-SPECTAMUR AGENDO Lot of 15
Here's a great lot of 1960s metal buttons.
There are a total of fifteen buttons.
Five are still on cards from Lady fashion. There are a total of 7 that are approx. 7/8 inch wide and 8 that are smaller at approx., 3/4 inch.
The backs or the large ones are all similar and the backs on the smaller ones are in 3 different styles. See photos.
The buttons depict a lion standing facing left, on top of crest with a similar lion. Beneath the crest is a ribbon with the wording "Spectamus Agendo" which tranlates in English to "Let Us Be Judged By Our Acts".
Obviously the ones are cards are not used, but all of the others are, showing various degrees of wear, but all intact.
