  • The following is copied from the internet:
  • Henk Visser (5 August 1923 – 11 June 2006) was a Dutch arms and armour collector, philanthropist and Dutch businessman.

The collection is centered around the ivory-stocked pistols. His collection was documented by the curator Jan Piet Puype who discovered that he had all of the very rare and important examples of ivory pistols in his collection (there were only 52 worldwide). The H.L. Visser collection is the largest collection of arms and armour. The Family collection is worth about $150 - $200 million and resides in the Rijksmuseum and the National Military Museum of the Netherlands.

  • If buying more than one item, please wait for an invoice showing combined postage.
  • Please also check my other listings for more original military training manuals, pamphlets, handbooks, etc.
  • Helpful Information for all customers:-
          • We list items every Sunday, running from 14.00 to 20.00h, UK time.

          • The listings follow a sequence of uniforms/hardware/posters/maps, followed by military history books, military training manuals/pamphlets/handbooks/photos listed in date order. The best way of viewing items is to sort by ‘Ending Soonest’ so that related items will appear together.

          • We always combine postage and always charge postage at cost.

          • Royal Mail charges for postage in weight bands, so multiple items can often be posted for the price of one.

          • With buy-it-now listings, the buyer has to pay the postage for each item, but we will always combine the postage and make a refund via eBay.

          • For simplicity, the cost for international postage given in the listings is an over-estimate based on the furthest possible destination. Actual postage will always be charged at cost.

          • If concerned, please ask for the postage cost to a specific destination.

          • Invoicing is done at the end of the last listing at 20.00h on Sunday. If buying several items, or buying for shipment overseas, it is best to wait for an accurate invoice after 20.00h.

          • If you choose not to wait, we will still refund excess postage when the item is actually posted.
