Attractive antiquarian full leather binding, gilt title lettering, elaborate gilt spine & cover decorations.

Book is physically old and shows some signs of handling and time. 

Beautiful book with great shelf appearance but one which has some leather chipping and splitting along the joints

Binding age worn but still appealing, leather chipped at spine ends, joints split and slightly rubbed with surface scratches to covers, but still supple, remains overall very attractive as an object.

Text block paper is gently age toned as typical, one signature slightly sprung, internally book remains mostly clean and sound, slightly shaken. A book which has been taken care of but may/ does not look like new.

Still attractive on the shelf. Book displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in rather nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws seem easy to overlook or forgive.
