BAZAR FRANCAIS ~ Early 5.5" Round Copper Tinned SAUCE PAN w/FLAT LID (#14) ~ NY/France

Description of item...

Here we have a wonderful vintage quality copper and tinned SAUCE PAN with a FLAT LID COVER and copper riveted brass handles - made in France for BAZAR FRANÇAIS "666" of New York.

It measures approx. 5-1/2" in diameter (add 5" for the handle) x 3" side high (deep) x 3" in total height with the cover, can hold up to 1-1/4 quarts (40 ounces)...to the brim.

It is in very good maintained (barely/hardly used) condition with no dings or dents, no tin loss. It has not been cleaned or polished since acquired, and is being offered in "as found" condition currently showing a natural exterior aged copper patina/tarnish/luster, tin is mostly still shiny (some natural darkening here and there, not offensive)...appearing to have had little or no use.

The lid's top and pot's bottom are marked, "BAZAR FRANÇAIS ~ NEW YORK ~ "666"" and the number "14" is by the pot's handle and lid's front edge rim.

Came from a private home collection of many years, however the exact age is unknown, circa 1970's.  This item weighs approx. 1-3/4 lbs., add 2 lbs. or so for the packing box and packing material. I combine shipping when safe and practical for all items purchased.

[NOTE: Copper pieces from this particular collection were individually wrapped in paper towel and plastic bags, put in hard plastic bins, and stored in a closet.]

[NOTE: I currently have other matching Bazar Français/Waldow copper cookware items from the same collection on auction.]

Payment and shipping...
NOTE: I will be revising, adding and/or changing my SHIPPING INFORMATION as eBay and the Post Office revise or change their information to better serve you. I will use USPS FLAT RATE boxes when I find it cheaper to use than regular USPS Priority Mail boxes or other generic boxes. INTERNATIONAL WINNERS - Please wait for the Invoice to be sent to you by me, and I will use USPS International Rates (AIR only, no more SURFACE shipping by USPS - discontinued.) I will be using UPS for shipping heavier items (usually over 5 lbs., cheaper than USPS rates - or larger boxes over 12" long/36" in total circumference - to US only.)
