1. The Murray Brothers

Charlie Murray (Laurel, Indiana, June 22, 1872 – Los Angeles, July 29, 1941) and Ollie Mack (born Oliver Turnbull) not only did it but were one of America’s major comic successes. Although just about completely unknown today even by vaudeville afficianados, they were stars for 21 years.

2. Billy Link- Vaudeville Comedian

3. Billy, May and Daisy Golden- Most Likely Billy Golden and wife Daisy. The next year Billy Golden had a best selling record “The Turkey and the Straw”

4. Miss Lizzie Evans

Two Girls and One Man

This is actually a pretty big deal because it was thought that this play premiered at proctors, which means that this is a previously unknown staging of the play before it opens at Proctors

5. Pauline Hall!!

One of the most popular turn-of-the-twentieth-century prima donnas in America.

6. Wormwood’s Dog and Monkey Circus

Legendary act was a popular vaudeville act of the early 20th century. The act consisted of 31 Monkeys and 24 dogs that rode bicycles, turned somersaults, juggled, engaged in swordplay and portrayed waiters, barbers, and comedians. The monkeys were dressed as old men and women who would obey verbal commands. The dogs were harnessed to small carts and the monkeys would act as drivers.



Starmer Illustration- "Starmer" is a household name to collectors of sheet music and appears on innumerable covers dating from the early 1900s to the 1940s. Their work was of consistently high quality and they were turning out nearly a quarter of all large format covers from the late 1890s to around 1919.
