Elle is a worldwide lifestyle magazine of French origin that focuses on fashion, beauty, health, and entertainment.

It was founded in 1945 by Helene Gordon-Lazareff and her husband, the writer Pierre Lazzareff.

The title means "she" or "her," in French.

French Elle is similar to French Vogue because it is a larger (approx. 9.5 X 12) magazine than the American Fashion Magazines.

This is a fairly large, 146 page issue.

This edition is the Septembre (September) 1979 issue.

Cover is photographed by Andre Carrara

Special Interest in this issue:

Lots of great models including Carrie Nygren. Patti Hansen is featured in a Hydrath ad.

There are several fashion illustrations by Harvey Boyd

************
All items sold are vintage finds sourced from estate sales and thrift stores in the Hollywood area of Southern California.

I do my best to catalog any flaws I find in the description of the item.

I do not accept order cancellations for any reason other than I have not shipped the item in the time I promised

Your purchase helps me continue to fund my artistic work as a photographer in Hollywood California. It also helps me to feed my increasingly finicky cat who now only wants the most expensive cat food
