Black Lacquer? over wood. Has been etched and painted by hand. Forming a colourful design.

It must have taken a long time to complete and produced by someone with talent.

A lovely useable antique.

This is not my field of knowledge, but while at a recent fair, it did jump out to me as a thing of beauty. I have not been able to find similar. So would be happy to be enlightened if you know better.

I feel the colours my listing images do not do full justice to the piece, as there is some light reflection.
