Vintage Extremely Rare 1953 Queen Elizabeth 11 Coronation Lace doily, This Item is so rare I have not been able to find one like it on the internet. The Sycamore all-girls school was chosen by a lace factory in Nottinghamshire England for each girl to receive one. known for being the worlds best lace making city. This one was my dearly departed mother-in-law's, (Name redacted for privacy)
The photos are of the lace doily, The Queen on Coronation Day and Just days before she departed. The Sycamore girls school building and some of the children of that time 1953.
Only the doily and frame plus provenance is for sale all other photos are for reference only. Even though the Item is from 1953 it is listed as new because it has not been used for any purpose other than once in a while being shown no one has even been allowed to handle it.
