For sale is my 2010 Renault Clio 200 Cup.

I bought this in January to do some track days and have some B road fun but I've only managed one day at Snetterton and used it sparingly as I have a recent back injury, don't have the space, and am flat out with work. The car is now surplus to requirements and not used. I've only done 200 miles in it!

It comes with a thick file of service history but is listed as a CAT S. As you'll see in the photos, there is damage to the OSR body work in the arch area. I bought the car like this and this is from the accident that caused it to be listed as a Cat car. Essentially, the previous owner had the car parked on his drive and a neighbours car was left without it's handbrake on and it rolled back into the Clio, hitting the OSR alloy, bending the trailing arm. The alloy, rear beam etc where all replaced with genuine Renault Sport parts and as you can see, the bodywork has been left as is. It hasn't bothered me and doesn't affect the way it goes. There are other minor bits of tatty body work, a scrape on the NSF bumper corner and the odd mark here and there. This isn't a show car and it's not priced as such. Mechanically it's great and for the money you won't get much more fun on a track or down a decent back road. Tyres are all matching Continentals and how this car handles defies physics! Please note: I'm a mature enthusiast, it has been warmed up and down, and hasn't been driven up and down the local high street trying to look cool.

Before attending Snetterton, I carried a brake fluid change an oil change and a geometry check. I also fitted new genuine front discs and pads as there was a slight wobble from the previous set. I trailered the car to the track day but it performed faultlessly and could easily have driven there and back without issue. After the day I ordered and fitted a Gravity Performance manifold/downpipe system, along with a 'black' Power Flex lower engine steady bush which has tightened things up nicely. The gearbox is spot on with no 3rd gear crunches.

The car is mechanically standard and is 100% spot on, reliable and usable, and for piece of mind, the car will be sold with a full 12 month MOT and while any inspection is welcome - I have a ramp, this is a private sale and the car is registered at my home.

A few things to note:
1: Clutch occasionally requires pumping up - I believe this just needs a bleed but has never bothered me so has been left as is.
2: Under hard acceleration, the gravity performance down pipe hits the subframe, very common apparently. I suspect a poly bush top arm insert would sort this, but again, hasn't bothered me so has been left.
3: Plate removed last week so current and original plate may not show up on some checks. (Plate removed: CL10 DYC)
4: Please see separate listings for Recaro's I bought to fit which have now been removed
5: Clio private plate will also be for sale shortly.

Please - no time wasters, groups of lads, foreigners offering half the sale price, or general dicks. If you hit buy it now, you are committing to purchase the car. Viewings very welcome and recommended by serious buyers. Any questions please message. Many thanks.
