Thank you for viewing my campervan conversion It is located in TN26 area of KENT.

This is a C1 classed vehicle so "grandpa licence" or will have to take a test.

Lovely van and drives very well indeed. 12 months MOT with out any advisory items, and has the 6 speed gearbox.  It is a 2004 mk6.

I have replaced the following in the last month or so, should be good for a fair few years to come.

New Duel mass clutch, slave cylinder and master cylinder (might as well do the lot)
New rear crank seal (hence the clutch replacement)
New starter motor
New water pump
New vacuum pump
New serpentine belt
Both van batteries (didn't know how old they were so just replaced them)

Last serviced about 2000 miles ago (but willing to carry out an engine service if you wish) Has just passed the MOT and for the second year, it has no advisory items.

The van has the following on board.

2x leisure batteries
240V inverter
4x USB ports
Battery charger (when running off campsite power)
150 watt solar panel (when not plugged in to campsite)
Flushing toilet
LED lighting
2 ring hob
12v and 240v fridge
sink with water pump
240V water heater (10 litre, stays at 45 degrees for a day if not plugged into a mains supply)
55 litre water tank
Diesel heater (personally I would remove this and put the storage to better use)
12v external power (plug in a water pump to fill water tank from water barrow)
2 roof vents
Awning and ground sheet
first aid kit
permanent bed set up at the rear.
reversing camera wired into the reverse gear.
Water barrow
240V plug in site lead
240V Mains plug in for home use
Spare gas bottle (current one getting low)

I built this van 3 1/2 years ago, we looked for a long time to find a van in this condition and with the lowest mileage that we could find. It has only ever been welded in two areas that I did before I converted it (small patches in the rear wheel arches) the small patches of rot were cut out and welded inside and outside (I have photos). the vans inner arches and inner sills are in very good condition and were wire brushed and undersealed a couple of years ago

The van doesn't burn oil, never any smoke and hasn't any leaks, oil or water. It is happy to trundle along at 65mph at 2500rpm.

The body work is in really good condition, a few little blemishes here and there but it has to be expected to have a few.

The van ceiling and sides have been fully insulated (again I have some photos) and keeps pretty warm in the colder evenings, hence why I would remove the heater as the space could be put to better use. If a bit chilly, fire the hob up as that warms it just as quick as the heater does and saves messing about with diesel etc. But will leave that to the new owner to decide.

We hired a camper before we built this one, it had all the bells and whistles and to be honest, had more things in it than my house does. when we finished with it for the 3 days, we realised how little of the items that the van had that we actually used, hardly any of it.

So with that information, we decided that a permanent bed set up was required as its just a faff making the bed each evening and trying to find somewhere to stick the duvet away every day. The only time we use the hob was to make breakfast and a cup of tea, a fridge obviously is required, a toilet as its just convenient and a sink to wash up etc. The Awning is a nice item to have, just gives a bit of shade and keeps the rain off when in England.............!

We built it so it gives a comfortable place to stay at night, cook a breakfast, go off and see the sights of wherever you are staying, come back and have a BBQ and enjoy the evening and go to bed. It will run off grid on the solar panel for a couple of days if the weather is nice and sunny but has been built really to have a plug in supply.

It is a medium high top, so it can go in most carparks (obviously not multi story ones), My wife is 5ft 5 and can happily stand up in the van. I am 5ft 10 and have to bend down a bit but can sleep on the bed straight. As mentioned before, we built it to sleep in not to live in.

Bad points, well every vehicle has one or two. Sliding door is a bit sticky sometimes (and I do mean sometimes), there is a knack to it. I would recommend that if not being used, then disconnect the batteries as the alarm will drain them. A couple or little rust marks and scratches here and there (I am being picky now). Belt tensioner is a little squeaky but I  should get around to replacing it. Fuel gauge works fine but in the mornings (occasionally), it's like trying to get a 15 year old out of bed on a school day, a slow process.

The van will be sold as seen and demonstrated, I have kept on top of anything that needed or I thought needed to be replaced or repaired. I have taken the van to Germany, mid France, Belgium, Oxford, Cambridge, Norfolk, Winchester and a few other places and have never had a problem. I have all the receipts of every item I have purchased for it, leisure and mechanical. More than happy to have it inspected by a mechanic, but not "Dave from the pub"!

Happy to answer any questions, please email in first instance.

Bedding in photo's doesn't come with the van, just the mattress (has always had a cover on it)

I will genuinely be sad to see it go as we have had some really good times with it, with various work commitments, we just cant justify keeping it. It has been a hard decision to make to be honest, and on the times that we could have used it in the future, it will be sorely missed.
