The Haunt of Fear #20 from August 1953.  This is a high-grade collector's copy; the cover is still glossy and supple, and the pages off white.  There is a two-inch tear at the bottom of the cover; please see final pic.

This is one of two ECs that I bought in the 80s.  I was an intern in Georgetown and picked this up at Olsson's Books on my way to Commander Salamander during my lunch break.  That wasn't the day I returned to my archly conservative agency job sporting the Brooks Brother's sack suite I wore that day, green hair, a leather dog collar, and a purple feather boa that I wisely kept in my attaché case.  God I loved the 80s.

This comic has been in a private collection since the mid1980s.  This is the first time in 40 years that it has been made available to the public.

I’m doing that Swedish death cleaning thing and selling most of my childhood golden-age comic collection.  I'll also be selling vintage baseball cards and toys, gold and silver-age comics, gold and silver coins, Case knives, high-camp items from the 50s, paintings and artwork, and the odd bit of erotica…but not too odd.
