Here is an incredibly rare and whimsical – but solid – articulated poison ring that is probably from the 40’s or 50’s in 950 fine silver –in the shape of the Big Bad Wolf’s face with an open mouth from which comes a long lolling tongue that snakes around the entire band of the ring.

As you can see from the pictures, a small segment of the tongue can be lifted to reveal a narrow space in which a message – or poison, if you prefer – can be hidden.  The ring weighs a hefty 25.5 grams of fine silver and is a size 6.
