A beautiful example of an antique late 19th early 20th century Russian silver ewer/pitcher set.
Set consisting of ewer and 6 cups.
High level of craftsmanship.
Ewer with elongated narrow neck, to the top a shaped hinged cover with thumb piece, a scrolling ribbon-like handle, the body spherical and insert with circular reserves, all on a pedestrian circular base. Six tot cups, all engraved with free-form flowing honey suckles and ribbon-like leaves curled around and upwards.
Russia, Moscow 1899-1908.
