16mm feature film print of A Night at the Opera (1935), the first Marx Brothers film made at MGM and the first to not include Zeppo.

This print appears carefully assembled from two perhaps different original-looking prints. Overall, the image quality is great, with sharp detail, good contrast and sound. This print even has the rare opening logo spliced in which features the brothers in place of the MGM lion. This intro I would assume was taken from a print of the trailer, meaning a previous owner spliced it in to realize the original concept for the opening of this classic film as the studio first intended. Even though to my knowledge it never actually played this way in theaters, it did stay in the trailer.

Complete, with some wear and splices, but nonetheless a remarkable print exemplary of a collector's attempt at a unique Marx Brothers film restoration. No vinegar smell.
