antique and vintage Halloween, Christmas, Valentine’s Day and Easter holiday memorabilia,
paper ephemera, antique dolls and toys and fine jewelry. We are also given the
honor of selling fine and rare pieces for other collectors.

WOW!
I know I shouldn’t have favorites, but if I did … this card astounds me with
its awesome glittering metallic gold background!
It features a scary or scared arched-back black cat atop fenceposts with a full
harvest moon behind him. Falling leaves from the tree above complete the scene.
Produced by Gibson of Cincinnati, Ohio circa 1920s, this bridge game tally card
remains UNused. This card measures 3 ½” high X 2 ¾” wide.

The
condition is MINT. This tally retains its original silk cord and tassel.
During the Golden Age of Hallowe'en – the 1920s and 1930s – bridge card games
were all the rage. Festive parties from this era were often held by adults, for
adults, where costumes were worn, cocktails were served, card games were
played, and fun was had by all.
This hard-to-find tally card, in its wonderful like new condition, would make
an ideal addition to any collection of antique Hallowe'en memorabilia, vintage
card game collectibles, or holiday paper ephemera.
