Here is a nice classic book covering Frank Benson's Sporting Prints for your buying consideration. Would make a great gift for a special occasion, or keep for yourself!


We picked this piece up from a sale where a number of Sportsmen items, including bronzes, paintings, prints, and books that belonged to Alfred King (Sportsman's Edge Gallery in NYC). or the collection of Dr Morton Kramer were made available.


Nice collector's book here on Frank Benson's Sporting Prints from the Alfred King collection.  The book is entitled, "Frank W. Benson's 'Etchings Drypoints and Lithographs".  The book was written by John Ordeman in 1994.  Published by Hickok-Bochus Press of NJ.  This is a first edition book of which only 200 copies were issued.  This is #110 of 200 and is also signed by the author.  


Great artwork pieces throughout the book that were done by Frank W. Benson.  


This fine book is being offered to you at a price below what you would see in a fine book shop or auction house.  We can do that by being a dealer in artwork for over 40 years, better controlling our acquisition costs, keeping commission costs low (if applicable).  Finally, we don't have the overhead that fine book shops or auction houses have.


This limited edition book and sleeve look to be in almost like new condition.  No marks or owner stamps in the book.  The book has brown leather and green cloth hardcovers with gold gilt lettering on the spine.  The book comes with the original sleeve for the book,.  Plastic wrap still on sleeve, just opened where you slide the book out of the sleeve.  No dust cover, as issued.  The three edges of the pages are smooth cut.


The Frank Benson's artwork book is 11-1/8" tall, by 8.75" across, by 1.5" wide.  The book is 446 pages in length.  A very slight musty/dusty smell to the book.  Let us know if you have any questions or need additional pictures.  Don’t be shy to make an offer, we are always open to reasonable suggestions.

Payment Policy

  • Per Ebay policy.  No personal checks. 
  • Immediate payment is required for items where the full listing price is paid.
  • When a best offer price is accepted, the sooner payment is made, the sooner your item will be shipped.
  • Once full payment is received, your item will be shipped on the same or next business day (depending on the time of day the purchase is made).  For example, an item paid for on Tuesday will be shipped no later than end of day Wednesday.  An item paid for on Friday will be shipped no later than end of day Monday. 
  • U.S. Federal holidays will impact shipping dates.

Shipping Policy

  • Shipping is available to:
    • 48 contiguous U.S. states and Canada.
    • Select countries (disclosed in individual item description).
    • PayPal confirmed addresses only.
  • No APO/FPO delivery.
  • Items will be shipped via USPS or UPS Ground, based on the buyer's preference.
    • Shipped on the same or next business day following receipt of full payment.
    • UPS/USPS tracking number will be provided.
  • Shipping includes the cost of insurance, where applicable.
  • Special shipping requests can be communicated and agreed upon at the time of sale.
  • A separate handling charge may apply to certain items that require additional packaging in order to ensure safe shipping.  Please refer to the individual listings to see if a handling charge applies.


If an item is shipped to a country outside of the United States, the buyer is responsible for any brokerage, tariffs, taxes, customs, or other charges imposed by that country.  The seller reserves the right to choose the international  shipping carrier based on shipping method selected at the time of payment.  The seller will not understate the value of any item on customs forms.

 

If you purchase or win more than one auction in which the items can safely be shipped together, we will send you a combined invoice.


We take great pride in is our wrapping to ensure that your order is safely shipped to you.  You might find our shipping costs higher than other sellers, but it is due to the extra time, packing care, and materials we utilize.  Of over 900 packages shipped last year, we had only two items with issues, a 99.8% damage free delivery rate.   Keep in mind, we are not shipping soft goods, like shirts or pants.   We are shipping vintage/antique items that are fragile and require special care.


We also obtain insurance on any item that was bought for $50 or more, and require signature on delivery for items that are valued at over $200.  Plus we have to pay the 11.75% of the final value and shipping fees that eBay and PayPal charges. 


Forfeiture - Items not picked up or arrangements not made by Buyer to have the item shipped to them within 60 days after payment, or during the layaway payment process, will be forfeited by Buyer to Seller.  Seller then has the right to resell the item again, with no refund of purchase price or sales tax to previous Buyer. 


Returns Policy

    • Returns are accepted by seller within 30 days of receipt of item where an item is not as described.  The Buyer will be assessed a 15% fee of the Item and Shipping Cost, and also 100% of both Shipping Costs should they decide to return this item for whatever the reason. 
    • Please note that a restocking fee is charged to to cover costs related to the loss of listing time and other potential sales, plus the amount of care and time that goes into preparing our unique and fragile items for shipping. 
    • In accordance with eBay's Buyer Protection Program, the purchase price plus original shipping cost will be refunded to the buyer once the item has been received by the seller, minus the 15% fee plus both Shipping Costs as noted.
    • Buyer would pay for the return shipping cost and any applicable insurance cost (item is the buyer's financial responsibility until the item is safely returned to the seller by shipper).
