WHAT IS BELLABE

The Bellabe™ Facial Hair Remover is a manual epilator for removing both fine and coarse facial hair. Bellabe (pronounced “bella-bee”) is designed for individual use, and removes hair on the upper lip, chin, cheeks, jawline, and neck area.

Bellabe is comprised of two handles and a FDA approved hypoallergenic spring (it does not contain nickel). No chemicals, creams, lotions or waxes are used, making clean up easy and fuss free.

1. How does Bellabe work?
Strands of hair are caught in the precision coils that make up the main component of Bellabe, then pulled out by the roots and released.

2. Why should I choose Bellabe over other hair removal products?
The beauty of Bellabe is that it is very easy and simple to use, and effective. It is also safer, is not messy at all, and affordable.

3. Is hair removal by Bellabe painful?
For those who are not used to hair being removed by the roots, some sensitivity may be experienced. Most people liken the sensitivity to a tingling or prickling sensation. Your skin will gradually get accustomed with regular Bellabe use.

4. Is hair removal by Bellabe permanent?
No. To date, there is no hair removal device or product permitted by FDA to be marketed as a permanent hair remover. Laser treatments can only be marketed as "permanent hair reduction".

5. Can Bellabe be used for all types of hair?
Bellabe can remove fine peach fuzz as well as thick hair. You know how sometimes we get that few thick shorties, well, Bellabe can remove those too. It may take a couple of tries, but Bellabe does the job!

6. Will hair regrowth be coarser after using Bellabe?
Regular use of Bellabe may result in finer facial hair as hair is removed from the roots. Hair regrowth also depends on individual. If you have removed facial hair from the roots before and your hair regrowth is no different, then Bellabe will do the same.

7. How long before I need to use Bellabe again?
Hair regrowth varies from person to person, and depends on your hair type. It may take anywhere from 3 days to 4 weeks before you need to use Bellabe again.

8. How often can I use Bellabe?
Bellabe can be used as often as you like as, be it daily or twice a day. You do not have to wait for hair to be fully grown to use Bellabe.

9. I am happy to continue tweezing my hairs. Why should I use Bellabe?
Why spend hours in front of the mirror tweezing your hairs when Bellabe saves you time as it removes several strands of hair at a time. You do not have to use a mirror to use Bellabe. In fact, you can use Bellabe even while watching TV or browsing the internet in the privacy of your home.

10. Will using Bellabe cause an allergic reaction or skin irritation?
No. Bellabe is safe and natural and if you do not have an allergic reaction or skin irritation to tweezing (where hair is also removed from the roots), then you should not have any with Bellabe. If you have really sensitive skin, you may experience a slight redness which should fade quickly.

11. I have tried other forms of hair removal like waxing, and found that my skin would break out afterwards. Will using Bellabe cause the same reaction?
It should not. However, it is suggested that your face is cleansed, toned and moisturized after each Bellabe use. For those with really sensitive skin, apply a thin layer of antibiotic cream such as Neosporin. It helps to use a gentle scrub or exfoliating wash after each Bellabe use too.

12. My skin is very thin and papery due to being on medication. Will using Bellabe remove a layer of my skin?
No. Bellabe only snags the facial hair and pulls them by the roots, unlike waxing where a thin layer of skin is also removed leaving your skin red and raw.

13. I am pregnant. Is it safe for me to use Bellabe?
Definitely. Bellabe does not use any harmful chemicals, waxes, creams or bleaches.

14. My daughter is 12 years old. Can she use Bellabe?
Yes, even girls as young as 10 have used Bellabe. Children have sensitive skin, and Bellabe is the perfect hair removal product. See no. 2

15. Can anyone use Bellabe?
Yes. Even if you've been told that laser treatment is not suitable for you, Bellabe is the answer to your woes.

16. Can men use Bellabe?
Bellabe is recommended for women. However, some men with fine facial hair have used Bellabe and declared that it worked for them too!!

17. Can Bellabe be used on other parts of the body?
No! Bellabe was designed for use on the upper lip, chin, cheeks and neck areas. It should not be used to remove hair from the eyebrows as it will pull your eyelashes out! Yes, it is that effective!! It should also not be used to remove hair from the ears, armpits, legs, back, bikini area or any other body area not specified.

18. How long can I use my Bellabe before getting a new one?
If maintained properly according to the instructions, you should be able to use your Bellabe for 6 months to 1 year before replacement.
