Advice for fitting 12 LED lighting:

In residential and commercial premises, 12V halogen bulbs require a transformer to lower the supply voltage from 240V to 12V.

Most halogen transformers are rated at 25~60W AC. Many of the 12V LED bulbs on the market are mostly rated at 1~5W.

This begins to explain why problems may be experienced when retro fitting LED bulbs using existing halogen transformers. This may cause flickering, a dim light, and/or a much shorter lifespan. It may also cause the bulb to melt or smoke.

Therefore, it is extremely important that an LED driver is used instead. We cannot refund for our 12V LED lighting if they should fail if an LED driver has not been used.

All our 12V LED bulbs/lamps will work in motorhomes, caravans, boats etc. if a regulated DC power supply is used.

These LED bulbs should not be used with dimmer switches.
