Welcome to Antiques & Moore!

This listing is for a GORGEOUS 19th century high quality painting on porcelain portrait in its original antique gilt wood frame and mounted in an ebonized shadowbox frame

The painting has beautiful coloration and fine details and features a young lady appearing to be Royalty (perhaps a Princess) wearing an elaborate gold necklace and large hoop earrings. Portrait is beautifully painted in KPM style and quality although the back of the plaque is unmarked.

The porcelain is framed in a beautiful wooden frame with a bright gilt finish. The frame is mounted in an ebonized wooden shadowbox frame with glass cover. There are the usual stress cracks in the enameling on the shadowbox (see photos) - no other noted flaws.

The oval plaque measures 4 1/2" high by 3" wide. The shadowbox measures 9 1/4" long, 7 1/2" wide and 1 1/4" deep.

This painting is absolutely stunning and the quality is superb!
