Before you purchase this item, please make sure your original laser is a single lens(KES-400A)

Otherwise, the drive would not work.

Also, there are two different lasers available for the PS3 PHAT style(KES-400A or KES-410A)

The surest way is to open up your bluray drive and see which laser you have inside.

There is a sticker on the laser module or deck and it should read something like KES-400A or KEM-400AAA
