Gum Rosin is still widely used today by industry for the manufacturing of items like Oil paint, Printing inks, Paper, Resins, Adhesives and in the making of synthetic Rubber. Historically, Gum Rosin has been used by the Egyptians, the Ancient Greeks, the Romans and the Vikings; it was used in China and Japan for art lacquer and used as a varnish in Europe for furniture and musical instruments.
