**** ATTENTION! **** For most (not all) Ford products, 1996 was a transition year for key types. Late 96 takes this key (with narrow center grove). Early 96 may require a different key (without the narrow center groove).

This is a regular non-electronic key blank. This is NOT a PATS/electronic key. The PATS system was optional on some years...send picture of your key and ask questions before buying if you have any doubt about what sort of key you have.

Merchandise Description

This ebay auction is for ten (10) Strattec OEM Ford logo non-electronic key blanks...just as pictured. These key blanks are considered the "8 cut" type - also known as "H-75". Made in the USA.

This blank may work for additional vehicles (other than those in the ebay compatibility chart). If your vehicle is not in the compatibility chart but you think this blank may be compatible...send a picture of your key through the ebay message system. If your Ford vehicle is 1997 or newer and does NOT require an electronic key....then this blank could be correct.

This key blank is made by Strattec....they are the OEM for this part. Ford buys this part from Strattec and packages it under the Ford name. It has the same appearance, specifications, and quality as those sold under the Ford name.
