This is a replacement/upgrade kit for the rubber nuts and bolts found to secure wheel arches, front and rear grilles (S1) and interior panels.
The rubber nuts are designed to fit a 10mm diameter hole, are made from neoprene rubber and have a 5mm brass thread. The bolts and washers are made from high quality A2 stainless steel that will not rust.
The rubber nut is placed through the holes and when the bolt is tightened, it compresses behind the wheel arch and bodywork, securing the two. One set of 10 is sufficient for two wheel arches. It is well worth replacing these nuts every year or two as they do tend to seize up. I would also recommend using a dab of copper grease when refitting to aid removal in future.
The rubber nuts are very difficult to source and will cost you upwards of £1 each (just for the nut, and not the bolt and washer) from any Lotus dealer.

These well nuts are 14.1mm long, designed to fit a 10mm diameter hole and have a grip range of 0-5mm.
