2 in 1 Snap Depth Gauge has thess  user-friendly functions that are clearly labeled ON/OFF, ZERO and UNIT Selection buttons. Zero is a useful function that lets you reset zero at any point within the overall range of measurement. The Unit Selection button lets you select between metric, plain numeric and fractional displays of the measurements. The Hold function lets you take a measurement, press the Hold button and that figure is retained on the display. This comes very useful when you can’t see the display while taking the reading or you need to save the measurement for lare use. After the retained dimension is no longer needed you simply press Hold button again to cancel that function.

This measuring tool can be used to check the depth of a slot, dovetail and hole, use it to check the run-out of table saw arbor, check the flatness-straightness of the surface.

The gauge has a range up to 4"-100mm.

The Measuring Probe Rod Head measures 25/128"/0.1935"/4.92mm, The 2 in 1 Snap Depth Gauge also comes with 1” and 2”-long, screw-in plunger extensions to let you select and perform the most appropriate length shaft for maximum measurement up to 4".
