This listing is for a beautiful antique Japanese Meiji Period Arita/Imari 7" bottle vase.

The design features four large hand painted medallions with two having dogwood tree centers and two other round decorated medallions. Nicely enameled in rust with cobalt trim against a white porcelain ground. 

Long slender neck decorated with matching dogwood blossom design enameled in rust against a white ground, cobalt band around upper rim. 

The vase is in very good condition, the enameling and gilding are excellent although there is one tiny no-harm flea bite on upper rim and exposed fired clay residue on lower body (see photos). No other noted flaws.

Measures 7 1/4" high, the top diameter is 1/2", the maximum width is 3 1/2 and the base is 2" in diameter
