35W 220V SKELETON CONDENSER FAN MOTOR FOR REFRIGERATION APPLIANCES

This fixed price listing is for 1 x Fan Motor as shown.

This fan motor and blade combination BLOWS air when viewed from the blade end of the motor The Sucking version is in our ebay shop , see our par number SF01.

The distance between to the two mouting screws is approx 48mm (hole centres).

The skeleton motors (also known as open frame/open wound motors) range are the most basic of design. They are constructed from a single bobbin wound stator and a die cast rotor assembly. These motors have a low running efficiency due to the construction. The shading coils remain in circuit whilst the motor is running and they oppose the main winding. Skeleton motors due to their limitations of performance are restricted mainly to light duty applications such as bottle coolers and domestic units.

IMPORTANT NOTE
Please note that these fan motors are non-returnable and not supplied with any commercial warranty, if your original motor has seized or stopped working you may have an underlying problem that has led to the eventual failure of your motor, if the original cause of the failure is not rectified then you risk damaging the new motor. In most cases the motors fail due to overheating because they are running for long periods of time, this is normally due to the fridge or freezer not reaching temperature thus allowing the motor a rest period. These motors are not designed for 24/7 continuous use. For this reason motors cannot be supplied with any commercial warranty. We do strongly advise that any diagnosis and repair is carried out by a qualified refrigeration engineer who could establish what caused the original fan motor to fail.

Please ensure this is the correct part for your appliance before purchasing.
