The Mid-North Coast of NSW is a deadset 4WDing paradise, with destinations like Forster, Port Macquarie and Coffs Harbour all hosting some of the toughest tracks and most amazing campsites you'll find anywhere.  And it's little wonder - these towns lie in the foothills of the Great Dividing Range, where you can't wander five minutes from home without finding low-range tracks!

On this issue of 4WD Action TV, join Graham, Shauno and Steve from GIC as they explore a lesser known part of the Mid-North Coast - Taree.  It's a pearler of a town, and judging by the number of big, lifted 4WDs getting around, there's bound to be some serious adventure on the cards.  Will the boys make it through the notorious mud holes and hill climbs, or will they fall victim to the tracks?  You'll have to watch to find out!

Plus, we meet with the owners of three of the toughest and most unique 4WDs getting around the tracks today.  First up is what we reckon might just be one of Australia's best-set-up touring FJ Cruisers, with a whole host of aftermarket mods to make it a proper cross-country machine.  Next we catch up with a bloke whose day-to-day job is to talk 4WDs with fellow off-road addicts and see what he's done to make his tough dual-cab D22 a genuine on-of-a-kind monster.  Finally, we check out a seriously custom GU Patrol that just about defines the term 'DIY', with heaps of beaut custom mods you'll want to incorporate into your own build-up.

That's not all!  Roothy's back to whip up another bush cooking storm, this time a bit of tucker that's been an Aussie staple for years, done how only Roothy can do it.  We won't spoil the surprise, but we will tell you it makes us hungry just watching it!

All this and more, on this issue of 4WD Action TV - the only show on your telly that lives for the weekend escape!
