The Midway Gardens was built from 1913-1914 as a city block sized entertainment complex on Chicago's waterfront.
These sprites were among many sculptural objects, designed by architect Frank Lloyd Wright and executed by sculptor Alphonso Ianelli, that sat atop the exterior walls.
