Pictures are self explanatory, however, this is what it is: Unissued front sight blade. Unnumbered (although these are never are) as far as serial. These are military blades (vs. civilian replacements) - note rounded ends of the base, vs 'flat'. All (several available of 2 sizes) have a CG Crown stamp.
Amount of original preservative grease will vary depending on a sight - these are somewhat greasy (as you see in the pictures). This is a correct and original Swedish Armorer replacement item /part for Swedish Mauser Rifles and Carbines in a 6.5x55 chambering. Compatible with with CG = Carl Gustafs stads Gevärsfaktori in Eskilstuna, HVA = Husqvarna Vapenfabriks AB and Waffenfabrik Mauser Oberndorf a/N. FSR, depending on the front sight system also utilize these parts. This is a Genuine Original Swedish replacement part still full of long term storage packing/preservative grease.
Time to fine tune your rifle or carbine for a correct point of impact with your ammo.
I was told that these are compatible with other models/countries of Mauser rifles/carbines (Argentine was mentioned), however, you will have to be the one doing a necessary research prior to purchasing as there are no returns/exchanges for this auction.
