Watercolour on heavy, lightly textured paper by John Rendell 1920-2004. Rendell was a Mural artist, impressionistic and abstract painter. He studied City of London Institute for Art 1940's, lived in Kent and later in Gloucestershire.  Exhibitions include the Dover District Council Mural Art 1948, Gloucester Art Society, Churchdown Art Group etc..

I will be listing a number of studies by Rendell from a large body of the artist’s work (Part of the portfolio is detailed in the last image, not included in this auction!). Some pieces are signed or initialled, which I will detail in each listing along with general condition.

The paper is in good condition unsigned, circa late 20th Century.
