8 x 2-Stamp Progressive Proof Car Set: 1957 CHEVROLET BEL AIR (USA) 

On offer here is a rare set of EIGHT Se-Tenant Stamp Pairs in Full Progressive Proof Format (Imperforated) plus Final Finished Post Office Ready Perforated Format.  The stamps were produced by St Lucia in the Caribbean (West Indies) (Issued 25th June 1984) as part of the AUTO 100 (Great Automobiles of the World / Leaders of the World) Series.  The offset printing process uses 4 inks - Cyan (C), Magenta (M), Yellow (Y) and Black (K), which when combined (CMYK) produce a full-colour sheet.  Hence the 8 stamp proofs are (i) C, (ii) M, (iii) C & M, (iv) Y, (v) C & M & Y, (vi) K, (vii) C & M & Y & K, and (viii) CMYK in perforated format.
