• This universal 3-position headlight switch features Off, Park, and Headlight/tailight
• Screw type terminals
• 7/16" mounting hole.
• Has a 15 amp per circuit rating at 12 volts

This switch is a 3-position switch with the following functions:

• Off Position
• Position 1 (1st Pole): Acc./Park (Front Running Lights) / Running/Park (Rear Running Lights) ON
• Position 2 (2nd Pole): Running/Park (Rear Running Lights) / Headlights ON

It has 4 terminals:

• Terminal (B) : Battery + (Power In)
• Terminal (A) : Acc./Park (Front Running Lights)
• Terminal (R) : Running/Park (Rear Running Lights) NOTE: Also used for Dash Lighting if required.
• Terminal (H) : Headlights (Provides Power to Dimmer Switch)

Operation:

• OFF Position (Off): The 12V battery terminal (B) is hot, but all other terminals (A, R, H) are OFF.
• Position 1 - (ACC/Park Lights & Running/Park Lights On): With 12V at the battery terminal (B), both the ACC/Park Lights terminal (A) and Running/Park Lights terminal (R) are ON (HOT), but the Headlight terminal (H) is OFF.
• Position 2 - (Running/Park Lights / Headlights On): With the switch fully pulled out, the ACC/Park Lights terminal (A) is OFF, while the Running/Park Lights terminal (R) and Headlight terminal (H) are ON (HOT).
