Welcome to Antiques & Moore!

This listing is for a gorgeous Victorian Period (c. 1880-1900) pickle castor with beautiful cranberry glass insert.

Measures 10 1/2" high and 5" wide. Weighs 2.2 pounds.

The silverplated stand is decorated with an intricately embossed design and is in very nice condition.  The cranberry glass insert has a thick hobnail decorated body and is also in very good condition. There are a couple of tiny no-harm nicks on the inner rim of insert (see photos). No other chips, cracks or repairs.  The glass insert fits correctly into the stand and appears to be original. Tongs and Rogers pickle fork included. Stand marked "Meriden" and "II".
