You are buying an A4 modern print of the original pattern, not the finished item.
This is a wonderful 1940s vintage pattern for three styles of childs slippers! Instructions give you the opportunity to knit 'Rabbit' slippers (photo1), 'Bed-Time Boots' (photo 2 & 3) as well as 'Bag' slippers (photo 3). Felt is used as soles in the rabbit and boot styles. Originally 3-ply was used for the rabbit slippers and 4-ply for the other two styles, however, you may wish to use a modern 4-ply in place of the vintage 3-ply, and a modern D/K in place of the vintage 4-ply as vintage yarns were heavier than modern, but do work your tension square to see if a change of needles is needed to obtain the tension stipulated in the pattern (no tension is given for the rabbit slippers). A super item for the younger child.
