This is a lovely pattern for a lady's fringed lacy shawl, looking as light as a whisper and so elegant. It was originally crocheted in Patons Kismet yarn, which was a blend of acrylic and mohair using a 5.50mm disc crochet hook. Kismet was either a 4-ply or D/K, as on research information was conflicting! So take your pick between the two yarns and work your tension square and change hook or ply if needed to obtain the tension stipulated in the pattern. You need seven 50 gram balls of Patons Kismet to complete the shawl and I have noticed that there are auctions on ebay for this yarn in the quantity needed. A truly beautiful item designed to complement your favourite evening wear outfit.
