The 1.2mm thick skin is laser-welded to ensure constructional durability and premium enamelling ensures stability of the finish at very high temperatures up to 600°C. Although we do not advise cutting Vitreous Enamel flue pipes, the accurate internal diameter of this brand will be maintained if cut down in length.
If the male end of a vitreous enamelled pipe is matching the diameter of your stove outlet and therefore will not connect, typically you will require this Double Socket Adapter. By slotting over the male spigot on a European stove, this Adapter will convert it into a female outlet allowing the connection of standard single wall flue pipes. Please note, this part resembles a straight length of flue however it features a ‘Double Socket’ or two female ends.
