You are buying an A4 modern print of the vintage pattern and not the finished item.

This pattern is already available as a large print pattern. Please look in my shop under the 'Large Print' section. 

I love these little bootees and shoes designed for baby and with 8 styles to choose from you will definitely find something suitable for a boy or girl, so is great pattern to have on standby for when the little ones arrive! The designs are uniquely different from each other and a dream to knit in 4-ply or Baby D/K yarn. One style is knitted in Quickerknit (see below) so try a Baby D/K if you do not have any of the original vintage yarn stashed away. As this pattern was released when yarns were becoming standardised, you should be okay using a modern 4-ply or D/K, but don't forget to work your tension square to see if a change of needles is necessary to obtain the tension stated in the pattern!
