In 1997, Matthieu Chedid, better known by his stage name -M-, released his first solo album. An impressive debut effort, Le Baptême features the funky dancefloor hit "Matchistador." Coinciding with the release of the album, -M- created the distinctive horned hairdo that would brand him almost as much as his sound.
