My own comments:

Note that if your house is already infested with rats or mice, the repellers alone are not powerful enough to solve this. You need to trap or poison and eliminate the rodent population and then install the repellers to stop rodents re-populating. They act as a powerful deterrent but they cannot drive out an already established infestation.

This device has worked very well in my own house. I found I needed more than one device to get rid of all the spiders. I guess it depends how big your house is, how the house is wired and how thick the walls are how many devices you need. I live with the sea on one side and fields on the other and every year when the fields are harvested in the late summer and autumn I have had mice and often rats under, in and around the house. I've been here 16 years and having plugged the device in last year in July I have been really impressed. For the first time in 15 years I had no mice and no rats come under, in or around the house! Brilliant stuff. I've noticed though that the device doesn't repel woodlice at all though!
