An amazing 19th century hand carved wood folk art cane from a single block of wood measuring approximately 39 1/2 inches.  Origin possibly American or Solomon Islands.  Finely carved in what appears to be walnut wood with equidistant spiraling of the snake's body.  Cane is very straight as pictured with inlay which appears to mother of pearl.  An old but later varnish wears appropriate with use based on the flat appearance of the top.  A great piece.  Please see the video below for more details.  Shipped fully insured.  Thanks for looking.
