Narex Premium Paring Chisels
This is a Narex Premium paring chisels. Thee chisels are offered in the following sizes: 1/4", 1/2", 3/4' 1" 1 1/4". Primary
bevels are ground at a 25 degrees. Blades are 9 1/2" long. Handles are
stained super-hard European Hornbeam and are 5 3/4" long. Overall lengths are
a full 15 1/4". Blades have well-seated heavy steel tangs and handles have
a solid brass ferrule.
These
chisels are made by Narex Bystrice in the Czech Republic. Narex is a highly
respected tool manufacturer and has been making exceptional quality edge tools
for over 95 years. The blades are made from fine-grained, nicely tempered
chrome-manganese steel and hardened to Rc 59. The blades take and hold an
excellent edge. The blades are forged, hardened and then accurately ground on modern
CNC grinding machines. In the August 2008 issue of Fine Woodworking Magazine (FWW),
Narex chisels earned Author’s Choice for “Best Value” in the western style
bench chisel category. FWW considered a number of criteria when determining the
top performing chisels, including dovetailing, paring, chopping, durability
tests, out of the box condition, tool ergonomics and edge retention properties.

My E-Bay philosophy is simple, you are the customer and you decide how you want to handle the deal. I will go along with most anything as long as it is not too outrageous and you keep me informed. If it will be a few days before you get payment to me, no problem, just let me know so I will not worry about it being lost. I do not have any hard and fast time lines on what happens when. I work very hard to get all packages to the Post Office the next day after I receive payment. If for some reason that will be delayed, I will let you know.
All my items are shipped either USPS 1st class or Priority shipping. I will ship another method to get it to you faster as long as you and are willing to pay extra for the faster shipping.
You decide how you want to pay and I will usually go along with it. So far all (well, most) of my dealings have been with nice, honest people. (As I would expect).
I do ship worldwide. The shipping calculator will not work with this type of a variation listing, so please contact use for a shipping quote. I ship most items 1st class international, which can sometimes take 30 days to arrive. Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying.
My satisfaction policy is also very simple, you are the customer and you decide if you want the item. Satisfaction is guaranteed, no exceptions. Purchase may be returned for any reason or no reason within 30 days in original condition for a full refund. If the item is defective or for something I did or failed to do, I will also refund the postage. If you just changed your mind or found another one down the street, cheaper or better, I still accept returns, except you will need to pay the postage.
