Waste canvas provides an evenweave surface to cross stitch on other fabrics. Baste the waste canvas to the right side of your fabric, cross stitch a design, then moisten the waste canvas with water, and remove the canvas threads one at a time.  [NOTE:  Check your fabric and threads for colorfastness before stitching.] 

The price listed is for one half-yard (18" x 24") piece, but if you purchase more than one, they will be sent uncut, i.e. 2 units = one yard (36" x 24"), 3 units = 1-1/2 yards (54" x 24"), etc. 

All my threads and fabrics are stored in acid-free tissue, in dry, opaque boxes (away from sunlight and fluorescent lights).  They come from a clean, smoke-free, pet-free environment.
