We were active plant propagators and Nursery owners for a number of years specializing in the production of plant plugs and seedlings for our on farm use. We have learned a great deal about seedling production, proper storage, handling and identification of quality seeds to be able to offer you the finest and freshest seeds available. * This Non-GMO, open- pollinated variety is great in salad mixes. 

* Mache is shallow rooted and can be grown indoors in a flat.  

* Mache is also excellent in window boxes, containers and apartment balconies.

* It has a rich, buttery flavor that is a delicious complement stronger tasting greens.

* Mache can self seed in the garden and provide endless greens production.  

*  It is an excellent starter vegetable for beginner gardeners as they are hardy and quite easy to grow!

* It can also be used in micro-green production.

* It will bolt in warmer temps and does best in Fall and Winter in the South and can thrive in Northern climates.

* Mache is also very high in Antioxidants and Phytonutrients!

* It is also ideal for nutritious greens that can be added to salads or smoothies.

Seeds are packaged in a small poly bag. In an effort to keep costs low, and pass the savings onto you, we do not offer specific planting directions on seed packets. If you cannot locate planting instructions for your specific conditions, contact us and we'll do our best to instruct you on the proper methods.
