World´s first knuckle shell with Titanum cover
Held developed a compound of hard plastic with Titanium
cover which is attached together without any additional fixings. Therefore there
is no risk of injury to the knuckles from impact, heat or piercing.
Enhanced safety – the “finger bridge”
When riders fall, dislocation of the little finger is one of the more common injuries. In view of this, we have decided to incorporate a “finger bridge” which links the little and ring fingers. This bridge is reinforced with DuPont™ KEVLAR® fibre with a ceramic polymer matrix coating. Furthermore, the ring and little fingers are protected with an additional layer of DuPont™ KEVLAR® fibre, which means that the risk of injury to the finger is almost eliminated.
