W.B.Yeats was, and still is, my own favourite poet, from ‘Sailing to Byzantium’ to ‘The Lake Isle of Inisfree’ and of course, ’The Song of Wandering Aengus’. I have no personal connection to the great man but I always remember his son Senator Michael Yeats -who looked the absolute spitting image of him -sitting beside us at lunch hour every day in Neary’s Pub, engrossed in his Irish Times. I brought this poster in one day and held it up deliberately so he could see over my shoulder and got a good laugh out of him.
Jim FitzPatrick is a world renowned artist. Best know for the world famous Viva Ché 1968 poster (yes the Ché Guevara image you know well), Thin Lizzy album covers and a lifetime of iconic Celtic Irish art.

A4 8.30”x 11.7” and A3 16.5″ x 11.69″ prints are open edition with a signed label on the print and are embossed as proof of authenticity.
A2: 23.4″x 16.5″ Prints are Signed Limited Editions of 295 and are embossed as proof of authenticity.
A1: 33.1″x 23.4″ Prints are Signed Limited Editions of 95 and are embossed as proof of authenticity. It can take up to 10 days from received payment to complete this order and ship 33”x23” prints.
The full canvas size is 40”x30” (100 x70 cm). Examples of Viva Che and Fatalistic attitudes are in the pictures.
Canvas is mounted on a thick block wooden stretcher and canvas is wrapped around the sides and pinned on back.
