This listing is for a complete CNC spindle cable DIY kit to assemble your spindle cable minus the solder.
This kit includes the following components:
20Ft. piece of 16AWG 4 lead Double Shielded Robotics Grade Spindle Cable. (This cables features a minimum bend radius of 3in )
10in of 13mm (600v 125c) temp rated heatshrink (single wall for flexability) (This is to build your VFD's end boot that goes around your leads).
10in of 13mm (600v 125c) temp rated heatshrink (double wall with adhesive) (This is for the spindle connector's end termination)
4 4mm solder type ring connectors with 4 matching pre-cut 3mm (600v 125c temp rated) heatshrink pieces for insulation to provide proper VFD end termination
5in piece of 18awg green silicone drain wire (200c temp rated)
This cable is rated to 300v, and 105 degrees Celsius (221 degrees Fahrenheit) This cable is designed for your spindle to VFD connection to protect your CNC system from EMI penetration. This cable is professional Robotics grade, and features both Mylar foil, and tinned braided copper shielding with twine separator in the center of the four conductors, and 16awg ground drain lead for the minimal electrical resistance. The conductors are also tinned copper for ease of termination.
The amp rating chart below reflects the cables capacity based on the conductors insulation rating temperature.
