Our olive Wax is natural and organic, it is obtained from a process of blending different fractions directly from olive oil to produce a hard wax, similar to beeswax.  The manufacturing process capitalizes on the properties and benefits of Olive Oil fatty acids for delivery into the tissues where it will deliver a multitude of skin and hair benefits.  It is also a good choice for using in natural skin care/soap products because of its purity.

Olive wax is also a thickener, and stability enhancer and may be considered one of todays advanced emulsification enhancers. It is an excellent substitute for beeswax, particularly for vegan products.

Due to the Olive Oil backbone being similar to human sebum, it offers significant improvement in both moisture of the skin, through moisture barrier improvement, and to the actual emulsion, through enhanced absorption which improves spread ability and gives it a pleasant melting sensation with a lighter touch.   

Ideal usage: Designed to be used within 2-10% with 2-5% used for gelling a water phase and 3-10% for creams. Flexible with respect to oil polarity
